How it works

A short guide for ADC Cyber receipt uploads.

Upload a receipt

What this site does

The ADC Cyber Receipts app gives the team a simple place to upload receipt files for events and working sessions. You enter the first part of your Abbott email, choose a receipt, add optional notes, and submit.

The upload starts as soon as you choose a file. That makes the final submit step faster, especially from a phone.

Where receipts are stored

Receipt files are stored in a private Cloudflare R2 bucket.

Receipts expire after 60 days through an R2 lifecycle rule.

Access and security

  • The upload form is public so it is easy to use from mobile devices.
  • The receipt lookup page is protected by Cloudflare Access.
  • When you view receipts, Cloudflare Access provides your authenticated email and the site only lists files for that email.
  • Direct Cloudflare Pages URLs redirect back to receipts.adc-cyber.org.

Email delivery

After the receipt is saved, the site tries to email the receipt back to your Abbott email address. The message comes from [email protected] and includes the receipt as an attachment.

If email sending fails, your receipt is still saved and remains available from the protected receipt lookup page.

Forwarding to ExpenseIt

Abbott's Concur application allows for receipts to be emailed to the ExpenseIt service, which uploads the receipt to Concur and attempts to match it to an expense item. ExpenseIt works best when the message is forwarded from your Abbott mailbox. You can create an Outlook rule to forward receipt emails from ADC Cyber Receipts to ExpenseIt.

  2. Go to Mail, then Rules.
  3. Create a new rule named Forward ADC Cyber receipts to ExpenseIt.

  6. Save the rule.
